Our first Draft of the FAQ! Please do mail us with any questions or queries.
Q. Will users on my web site be able to see my Mobile number?
No, The Mobile number you use to receive the incoming SMS text messages is held in the SQL database on our server and is not shown anywhere on the popup WebCall page. In fact there is no reason why a user will know that their message is being sent by SMS. The only way they will know your Mobile number is if you return the call using a Mobile number
Q. I am little confused about the services you offer.
OK We have WebCall which allows visitors to request you call them and which passes you a SMS text message indicating their interest. We have Webcall SMS Alert which allows YOUR site visitors to sign up for your SMS alerts. We have WebCall Group SMS message allowing to create and manage groups to which you can broadcast sms messages.
Q. How quickly do we receive the SMS message?
Generally within a few seconds of the web site visitor clicking on the form. Occasionally network bottle necks can delay messages but this is not common or frequent.
Q. Why is WebCall better than the other Call me type services?
Web Call is more economical at 8 p per message, provides more information as your web site visitor can indicate their topics of interest allowing you to prepare better for the call or ensure that the appropriate person deals with the call. WebCall also provides you with a log that shows you which pages on your site are generating enquiries.
Q. What do I need to do to test the system?
