Using email to query a database and automate the reply is one of the most efficient uses of email and data. If you would like to discuss an application related to Email Database integration please contact us. We will be be able to let you see and use examples that demonstrate the type of applications we describe below.
Single key word Searches can be used to:
Automatically advising customers of a new product, an important date or the arrival of a product that meets their specified requirements enables e-commerce business to update their customers regularly and efficiently with targeted information. Willow Books uses event driven email to advise customers each occasion a new book is entered into the database that meets their registered profile.
It is possible to use email to allow users to complete complex forms and documents. When these are completed and mailed to the correct address the contents can be added to a database. Should any fields be wrong or not completed the form can be returned again by mail with a request and pointing out the error , allowing the user to re-submit. Asking visitors to complete long forms on a www page can often be off putting to the user. The ability to complete the same form off line is often more attractive, easier and can be spread over time. The form can contain much more helpful information and guidance than is possible on a WWW based form.
